The name G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè was founded by Glënm Tsîthê, who was culturaly Iron Elven.

Climate

Overview

G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 15th century in winter of the year 1395, by Glënm Tsîthê. The establishment of G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Glënm Tsîthê struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè as a prison colony.

G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of spacious cobblestone streets which form octogonal paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè's peasent-grade are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The influx of wealth has brought with it an influx of relaxation. Everywhere you look people are enjoying their prosperity in a slow, casual, and deliberate manner. There’s no rush for anything anywhere you look.

G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè's parks.

Cultural Notes

G̈ndêfk-thêjë Dêtîkè's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.
